About us
Dr. Norbert Kaiser
Since early 90s, I’ve started to note the extent to which the inherent potential of many enterprises is squandered by the failure to align processes, organisation and daily business to a common objective. Having held positions as CTO, EVP and managing director in various organisations and industries, I have had to learn - sometimes the hard way – that customer orientation (every companys raison d’etre) is an insufficient integrator for the various sometimes conflicting elements that make up a business. I founded taraneon together with Thomas to help enterprises understand, create and live in a ‘true’ and flexible enterprise architecture.
Thomas J. Olbrich
It’s all fascinating stuff: discovering what makes processes tick, why business people can’t interact with IT people, why managers believe in process maps, why automation has replaced management, why structure gets confused with content, why governance is a document … and why working as an advisor and market analyst on process management turns you into a cynic.
Working on business process issues continues to provide new insights and surprises. What better way to share and work on them with likeminded people – which is why I said goodbye to Olbrich Consulting after 7 years and founded taraneon, not only to learn but to create and improve the process experience.
